We offer 2 types of Hairdreams Extensions called “Bonded Extensions” and “Quikkies”

Bonded Extensions

Used to add lots of length and fullness.
Tiny individual bundles of hair chemically bonded to your own hair strands.
Used to achieve the most hair possible.
Best for people with normal to fine hair that is in fair to good shape.
Meticulous 4-6 hour application time, with fantastic results.
Can be worn three to six months depending on how fast your hair grows. Five months is about average.
A haircut is required at the time of your extension service to blend the extensions into your own hair.
A 45 minute consultation is required prior to your service. The cost of the consultation free of charge.

Quikkies

Used to add up to four inches and for fullness.
Strips of hair sandwiched between layers of your own hair. Attached with microfiber bonding strips.
Great for filling in thin ends, “too-short” bangs and overly layered or over texturized hair.
Better for people with very fine hair or chemically weakened hair subject to breakage.
Relatively quick application time, also with fantastic results.
Can be worn for 4 to 6 weeks, then re-attached up to 3 times (if you are growing your hair out, we may only be able to re-attach once).
Can be worn higher on the head than extensions
A haircut is required at the time of your Quikkies service to blend the Quikkies into your own hair.
About 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of extensions with 1/3 to 1/2 the wearing time.
A 45 minute consultation is required prior to your service. The cost of the consultation ($60.00) is applied to the cost of your service.

Extension F.A.Q. – Questions and Answers about Extensions

Q. How long will my extensions last?

A. Although our average customer experience 5 months of wear time, three to six months is the range, depending on growth rate and how well you maintain them. If you follow our simple home care regimen, the longevity of your extensions is more than those that don’t follow the program.
Is there really a difference in Hairdreams over other types of extensions? – Yes, we have used a couple of very well known brands in the past 4 years, all which yielded good results, but the Hairdreams® brand yields the best results. From our experience, Hairdreams® is superior than everything else on the market because of the quality of the hair, the compact bonds, and the ease of removal while maintaining the integrity of the hair.

Q. What should I be looking for when comparing price and quality?

A. First, be sure you are getting 100% human hair. Then ask if the cuticle layer is completely intact all the way down the hair shaft and whether or not the cuticle all lays in the same direction. Some salons will not know this, but they can find out. Next, find out what is included in the cost you are quoted. In addition to the cost of the hair and application time, you may be charged separately for color tinting your existing hair (basically a hair color appointment), and for a haircut, which is required after the extensions are applied. Other costs will include the products you will need to maintain your extensions and a consultation. Add everything up to get your actual cost and be sure to get the details of the guarantee.
Are Extensions hard to take care of? No, but daily brushing is a must and the brush must be of a certain type…board bristle infact. We offer the brushes for sale (a must have). Additionally, you must avoid certain types of shampoos and conditioners. In addition to the special brush and care in choices of shampoos, a regular follow-up service is a crucial requirement for the longevity of your extensions. This includes “Tidy-Up Cuts”, which are 4 to 6 six weeks apart. By doing this, it replaces your regular haircut and keep your extensions well integrated into your own hair, tangle free and natural looking.
Is there a way to tell if I am not a good candidate before I spend money on a consultation? Yes, there are several reasons you may not be a good candidate. If you are allergic to nylon, we cannot provide the service. The bonds contain a tiny amount on nylon. If you have a large patch (approaching 8 inches) of scalp showing due to thinning hair or medical treatment, you may not be a good candidate, but we would have to see you to make a final determination. If you suspect you may not be a good candidate for extension services, but are interested, call us at 512-782-9529 to speak to our top extension specialists about your unique considerations.
How much do extensions cost? – This is the number one question we get asked and the hardest to answer without a consultation. Please keep in mind you are getting the best of the best when it comes to extensions. Having said that, here’s the truth:
Your price will vary according to how much length and volume you want to add. As length increases, the direct cost of the hair increases. As volume and thickness increases, the time it takes to apply the extensions increases. . Prices for full head extensions start at $1,200 and go up to $3,000. $1,800 is about average. Quickies featuring a 12 different color strips is $31.00/stripe. Typical Quickies range $400 to $700.
Do I have to pay all at once? Payments for both Quickies and Extensions will be broken down into two payments. Your first payment is made prior to us purchasing your hair (we can’t return it). The second payment is made on the day of your extension services.
Can I just walk in to talk to someone about it? We recommend that you call in to setup a time. Our top extension expert is almost always occupied with guests. We MUST to take the time to address your needs and not provide a FULL consultation so you understand Hairdreams® extensions and its options. All of our consultations are complimentary.
